Throwing with Purpose

As I develop forms and ideas I often find myself starting with a cylinder at the beginning of the day. It’s a shape it took a long time to perfect and the first shape I was able to throw on the wheel. From this form everything seems possible, so coming back to the wheel it feels cleansing. Getting back in the swing of the semester means a nice set of cylinders on my shelf.
