Sketching off the Books

Developing ideas as a potter allows for a variety of ways to work through challenges. One technique I often employ is drawing on bowls. Currently, I'm beginning to use inspiration from old Polish designs and drawing on bowls lets me figure out how to adapt my patterns to a 3-dimentional surface. With this method as my bowl designs change, my patterns are altered along the way.
